Our 46 foot luxury charter boat will accommodate 6 paying customers plus crew safely and comfortably. The fishing is spectacular! The sightseeing is overwhelming! The Sea Buggy carries U.S. Forest Service permits for onshore activities such as fishing, photography, and hiking. Our charter season runs May through September. Our charters start out by picking up clients at the Sitka airport. From there, we head off to obtain licenses and any special dietary or liquid requirements. Most clients choose to come a day early and find accomodations in Sitka. We start the next day by hitting the water as early as necessary and fish till we’ve had enough. Then we find a nice sheltered anchorage and take care of the catch, fix a great dinner and, if time allows, take a walk on shore. Often dinner consists of the catch of the day for nothing is better than fresh fish. Crabbing and Shrimping are often an option. Sleep comes easily and then it’s time to experience a new day. At the end of the trip many choose to stay the night at local accomodations and fly out the next day. We deliver you and your catch to the airport to catch your flight.
